Starbucks China–Chinese New Year 2012

Happy New Year to all my readers and with the new year comes the Chinese New Year merchandise.  2012 is the year of the Dragon so the most prominent theme will be the character “龍” or the dragon itself.  The first batch of the Valentines series will also be released as well as the new Dragon bearista.

Have a look at the new mugs, coin bank, candy holder, tea holder and tumblers released today.

Gift Sets

If you don’t know what to bring back to your relatives and family for the Chinese New Year, the Starbucks gift set is a perfect gift.  They launched three gift sets namely the Via Travel set, New Year coffee gift set and the Verona Valentines gift set.  I will post the price once I return to Beijing.

Bearista and My Starbucks Rewards Card

This year’s Chinese New Year bearista is the dragon.  This bearista is released regionally with prices vary depending on location (Manila-Php 795, Mainland China-RMB 128).  Grab it while you can as it has a good ROI because of the limited release.

The My Starbucks Rewards Card also released their special edition dragon card.  It’s similar to the other My Starbucks Rewards card which will allow you to earn stars and get a gold card.

Well.. what are you waiting for.. grab them while you can!  Happy collecting!

I would definitely love to have a Starbucks Card with my name on it!

  2. Hi Claudine! I happened to stumble upon your blog while checking on Starbucks mugs available in China. I am residing in Singapore and just got back from Shanghai. I bought one of the white-pink mugs but regretted not getting the other pink mug with a 3D flower on it. So I was wondering if I can pay you to help me get one? I really hope to get that mug and collect it. So I hope you would be kind enough to help me? Please do reply even if you’re not willing. :) Thanks alot. And reply me thru my email as stated above.

    Thanks!

    Regards,
    Hilary
