Beijing Starbucks Tumblers!

items as a hobby. One of them collects city mugs while the other collects tumblers. They told me to keep them informed of any new mugs or tumblers or if I visit another city, to buy one if there’s a Starbucks there.
So.. how much does a Starbucks tumbler cost? RMB 95 or US$13.50 or Php617.50. Crazy right? But we each have our own fetishes. My cousin who collects tumblers has more than 40 of it already and she’s always checking the internet for new ones. So when I informed her that there are 6 new tumblers in Beijing, she asked me to buy 5 of them.
As for the mug, it’s cheaper than the tumbler at RMB 90 each. The current mug has a similar design as the Beijing tumbler. My cousin who collects city mugs asked me to buy one as well. Her office is full of these mugs. Some were given to her as gifts while some she purchased herself.
What makes them special you say? Who knows! All I know is they’re a very expensive collection.

I collect them too. I’m on a business trip in Shanghai and found out that buying tumblers here in China does not entitle you for a free drink unlike in other countries. Is this true?

it depends on which location. I had a friend of mine buy tumblers in hangzhou and they gave her a free drink coupon valid only in Jiangsu and Shanghai province. I bought one in Xian as well and they gave me a coupon too. In Beijing, they don’t give any coupons. I was only able to get one last year coz I bought their 2008 planner

Hey, I’m searching for this Beijing Tumblers. When I was in Beijing last weekend i was searching for this tumblers but they just had the ordinary, boring one for Beijing. Can you tell me please where i can buy them? Because i’m also collecting the Tumblers from Starbucks. Please send me an advise or maybe you can buy them for me and send them to Nanjing?`(Of course i will give you the money!) Please answer me soon!
